The Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL) has named it Three Stars for week 5 of regular season play:

FIRST STAR ⭐️

NOLAN FOWLER, IRONWOOD LUMBERJACKS
GP: 2 ⋅ G: 4 ⋅ A: 2 ⋅ PTS: 6
Fowler led the charge in a balanced attack by the Lumberjacks this past weekend, putting up 4 goals and adding 2 assists in the weekend series. The Coldbrook, Nova Scotia forward now has 9 points in 8 games this season.

SECOND STAR ⭐️⭐️

MARSHALL THOMAS, IRONWOOD LUMBERJACKS
GP: 2 ⋅ G: 3 ⋅ A: 3 ⋅ PTS: 6
Thomas joined in the offensive with 5 points on Friday (2-3–5) before capping off the 13-goal weekend for Ironwood on Saturday with an ENG. Thomas, a native of Canton, Mass., now averages 1.40 points per game this season.

THIRD STAR ⭐️⭐️⭐️

KELBY DIEHL, DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS
GP: 2 ⋅ G: 3 ⋅ A: 1 ⋅ PTS: 4
The Glenboro, Man. rookie forward tallied his first goal of the season on Tuesday against Kenora, following it up with 2 more goals on Friday at home against Fort Frances. Adding an assist on Saturday, Diehl finished the week with 4 points.
